Your New School Counselor...

As the new school counselor I realize I have some big shoes to fill, but with the support from the staff and students I have already received here at Center Point I can tell it’s going to be a great year. I just returned home to Texas to finish up my school counseling internship last year after spending 5 years on the island of Oahu teaching P.E. and Health at Mililani High School. Although I miss my weekends of hiking in the beautiful Ko’olau mountains and free diving in the clear blue water at Sharks Cove, I am happy to be back home close to my family. I am also enjoying taking motorcycle rides that last longer than 20 minutes, and not having to pay $7.20 (or more) for a gallon of milk! Chance, my Hawaiian born Great Dane, seems to be adjusting to the heat of Texas just fine and is grateful to finally have a nice big yard to run in.
