Elementary Teacher of the Month - December

January 27, 2010

The Elementary Teacher of the month is Stephanie Jeter.

Caring: Stephanie is very helpful to her fellow teachers.  She has a positive attitude and always puts her students first.  Mrs. Jeter shows how much she cares by being on time and well-prepared everyday.  She supports the school and community in many ways.  Mrs. Jeter cares about all her students not only academically but also on a personal level.

Passion: Stephanie Jeter’s passion is teaching and has been for many, many years.  Stephanie exhibits this passion by being prepared everyday, maintaining an organized classroom, and working with fellow teachers before, during, and after school.  In addition Mrs. Jeter collects items and information for her classroom in her spare time and in her travels.  She obviously loves her career and she is always willing to challenge herself for her students.

Inspiring: Stephanie inspires her students through her voice.  She has a beautiful singing voice that her children get to enjoy.  Her students get an added bonus during story time due to her expression and passion for learning.  She is always willing to lend a hand or an ear.  She pushes her students to improve daily and is an inspiration and an example to all teachers at CPISD.

Self-less: Mrs. Jeter has always been willing to give her time to her students, school, and community.  Stephanie has always volunteered to help set up for events and programs.  She stays after school to prepare and to assist her fellow teachers.  

Dedication: Dedication comes with many years of service, staying with it, and loving the little ones.  She has a big heart and always shows attention to those who need it.  Her dedication is proven year after year in all areas.  Stephanie Jeter feels strongly about being successful in all areas of her life and fosters that same belief in her students.
