Secondary Teacher of the Month - February

February Teacher of the Month was Lance Whittle. He received several nominations after the girls’ play off run. Listed are some of the comments from the various nominations:

CARING: He will do anything for his students and no matter if they win or lose, he finds a way to praise them.

PASSION: Coach Whittle has a passion for the game of basketball and a passion for his players. He has shed tears with his players and has taught them to play with passion.

INSPIRING: Coach Whittle inspires his student athletes to be the best they can be. He has high expectations for them in the classroom and on the court.

SELFLESS: Coach Whittle has made his teams and this school his life. He supports us in all we do and has given freely of his time and energy to make us successful.

DEDICATED: Coach Whittle isn’t just a basketball coach, he’s a teacher too. He has helped tutor math many times and helps us to understand it. He stays late to make sure we get all the extra help that we need.
