March Teacher of the Month is Cortney Hopper. His nomination reads:
By nature, educators are selfless, hard working, and committed to changing lives. Cortney embodies all of these qualities and more. Cortney is a selfless leader. He has given countless hours to his agriculture program and students. He teaches our students beyond the state mandated curriculum and shows them that academics and a tremendous amount of hard work will ensure success. From leading our students to a second place finish at the National FFA Hall of States competition to helping first time livestock show participants find their way to the show ring and win a ribbon, Cortney epitomizes success! Through his strong work ethic, he has modeled dedication to a purpose and managed to get students, parents, and community members to support his program.
