CPISD Receives Grant Award
Loss Prevention Grant from TASB

CPISD was recently awarded a Loss Prevention Grant from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) in the amount of $1,000. The grant award was presented by Mr. Dell Herrington with TASB to Mr. McLarty, Support Services Director for CPISD. Mr. McLarty wrote the grant proposal for the district.
The monies will be used to purchase new blinds for all windows of the Administration Building, which was re-located about two years ago to the original two-story school building that was built in 1911.
The blinds will help with security and also add to the appearance of the building.
