Secondary Teacher of the Month - October

The Secondary Teacher of the Month is Shirley Wright. Shirley is the district's library director.
C – Caring – She cares about students, staff and community members of Center Point. This is obvious by her daily routine. Shirley devotes the majority of her time helping the students, staff and community of Center Point.
P – Passion – Her years alone show the passion she has for Center Point. She puts her heart and soul into the district.
I – Inspiring – She inspires each and every student including staff members to be the best at all their endeavors. Shirley obtained her degree at a later age. She has shown the students and staff members that continued education is never to late.
S – Self-less - Shirley puts her students and fellow teachers first. She has shown up to work not feeling well on numerous occasions to assure the students and teachers have access to the library resources. In addition, she will work after hours to assist students and community members.
D – Dedication – Shirley has been and will continue to show her dedication to the district and community. I think we forget what she does for the district and community as a whole. Teacher of the month is a perfect way to show that appreciation.
