The Elementary Teacher of the Month for December is Joni Wiseman. Mrs. Wiseman teaches kindergarten and is on the Site Base Committee. Here is what her colleagues have to say about her.
Caring
Joni is always kind, respectful and positive with her students, co-workers and those in the community. She is always willing to help anyone in need. Joni shows she cares in the way she volunteers to be on committees and do whatever is needed to make sure her students are successful. She is involved in numerous community groups through school and her church. She is always willing to give of herself and her time.

Joni has recently completed her Masters degree which keeps her current in educational trends and best practices. Joni’s years of service, her attendance and punctuality reflect her passion for teaching. She is willing to listen and try new things. She is always willing to implement something new and inventive. She is always upbeat and truly enjoys her job.
Inspiring
Joni inspires her students, co-workers and the community by always being present at school events and activities. Joni is always at school and never fails to fulfill her obligations. She is 100% trustworthy. She inspires others by giving of herself and her time in many different areas. She inspires her students daily to be the best they can be.
Self-Less
Joni is always there to help with anything anyone needs. She follows through on each and every commitment. She puts the needs of her students’ family and others before her own. I never hear Joni complain. She comes to meetings, like the site base meetings and offers professional ideas without passing judgments on others. She doesn’t take the easy way out or what is best for her, but does what is best for our children.
Dedication
Joni’s countless hours of volunteer work at athletic events, stock shows, fundraisers, etc shows she is dedicated to our students and community in all aspects of education. Joni is a true “hero” and deserves to be recognized for all her dedication to her students, campus, and community. She has shown her dedication to teaching through her continued pursuit of higher education. She will do whatever it takes to make sure her students are successful.
