Trapper H. - Reserve Grand Champion Project

Trapper H. was Reserve Grand Champion over the whole show and received a $500 Scholarship donated by Back 40 Supply for his unique Deer Blind. The deer blind, dedicated to Texas Firefighters was painted with flames and the interior decorated with Fire Department memorabilia. Trapper decided to dedicate the deer blind to Texas Fire Fighters because of all the wildfires they had to fight this previous year due to the drought. Trapper will have the deer blind entered into the San Antonio Stock Show in February.
The Ag Mechanics Show, held January 17th, also featured a Cutting Torch Contest and the Champion Cutter of the Fast Torch in the Texas Hill Country was Michael R. of Center Point FFA. He received a $500 Scholarship to Tulsa Welding School provided by the School.
