Happy New Year

Howdy Partners,

I hope your holiday season was filled with joy, and many wonderful memories created with your little one. But now I am ready to steal your little ones back from you because I sure missed them! Your child is so much of my life!! I can’t wait to hear what they received for Christmas!

My conference is 12:20-1:10. This is the best time to meet to discuss your child’s progress in reading. Remember I am here to make your child as successful as possible, so if you have any tips for your child’s success, I would love to listen. We are a working team, you and I!!

When I hear the question, “What can I do to help my child at home”, my heart lights up! I hope you know that we teachers could never be as successful without supportive parents and guardians like yourselves. To answer your question though, make sure you work on vocabulary flashcards every night! And if you have time, have your child read just fifteen minutes a day. This truly makes a difference!!

Just sending out good luck to ALL the Stock Show participants! I know all the work that goes into raising a stock show animal, and I am proud of you for all your hard work! I can’t wait to hear how great all the students did! Hopefully I can make it to watch some of the students!
