James McAlister - New AD for CPISD

Hello pirate fans and supporters, my name is James McAlister. I am very excited to be the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for Center Point I.S.D. I would like to say thank you to the community and administration for allowing me to lead the student athletes in their athletic endeavors. My family and I are looking forward to becoming an integral part of the pirate community and support system that allows great things to happen to our pirate and lady pirate athletes.
I would like to briefly let you know a little bit about myself and my family as we make our transition to the Hill Country. My wife's name is Melissa. She is also a teacher. We have three children (2 boys and 1 girl :Payton 9, Aubrey 6, and Emma 2). We are coming to Center Point from Mineola, Tx. My wife and I were raised around the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. We both attended college in San Marcos, Tx. and love this area of the state, this is what initially attracted our family to Center Point. I have been teaching and coaching for 13 years and love working with young men and women in an athletic environment. My hobbies include fishing, golf, and spending time with my family. I would like to extend an open invitation for all supporters of Center Point Pirate Athletes to contact me and get to know me and my family as we enjoy a smooth transition to Center Point.
