Welcome Back to School!!
I am excited about the 2011-2012 school year. We have lots of positive changes and fun activities in store throughout the year. This is my 3rd year as Principal of CP Elementary and 9th year overall in education. My family and I moved to the Hill Country from the Dallas area and absolutely love it here. I am very lucky to work for such great kids and teachers. I anticipate a very busy year full of learning and growing.
Parents, be sure to have your student here on time and prepared for school everyday. These years are an extremely important time for your student and can set the course for his/her future. Our faculty is here to help you anytime. Please don't hesitate to call or stop by. Please be sure to take the time to become interested in what your student is learning and engage them in meaningful conversations. This builds on prior knowledge and improves student understanding of vital concepts. This is also a good time for you to build a quality relationship with your child.
Students, make sure to be prepared everyday and for every class. We want you to be successful, independent learners and to enjoy school. Learn and understand our rules and please ask if you have any questions. My door is always open and you are always welcome to come speak with me anytime. You kids are the best!!!
