Welcome to all new students and welcome back to our returning students!
My name is Alene Kirklen and I teach English as a Second Language. I am so fortunate because I get to teach all the elementary students who are becoming bilingual speakers. I have taught ESL for 16 years. During these past years, I have helped students from all around the world learn to speak English. I have taught at Center Point for the last 5 years.
If your child comes to our school speaking any language other than English, he/she will visit my classroom for a short period of time daily. I look forward to meeting you and your children. If you need a Spanish/English translator please ask to speak to Mrs. Mary Castillo. Ms. Castillo has worked at Center Point for 10 years and is very active within the community.
