First Grade News!

Welcome back to our last semester of First Grade. I hope you and your family had a wonderful break! 

We still have so much to learn this year. I am very impressed with the progress each child has made so far. Please continue to read each evening with your child, as this will help your child become a more successful reader. 

This Six Weeks we will be learning more about weather, different jobs, needs, and wants. We will also continue with our phonics lessons and spelling words each week.

I would like to remind you of some important dates. Students will not come to school on Thursday, January 19th and Friday, January 20th due to the Stock Show. Also, we will have our Valentine's Day party on Tuesday, February 14th. A letter will be coming home soon giving more information about the party.
