Welcome back from Christmas vacation. I hope that everyone had a great break and a happy new year! Below is some general information to help you start up your semester again with your student.
Important Dates:
January 4th - Report Cards go home
January 19th and 20th - No School
Home ideas for helping your child:
- Counting with your child.
- Talking about the environment around you.
- Talking about whether something an object is on, in, behind, in front, left, or right.
- Talk about shapes and colors.
- The weather is a great topic of conversation. Let them describe it to you. What would he or she wear in that weather?
- Read daily with your children.
Special Education Parents:
There are classes available for parents at Region 20. These classes show you how to better academically work with your student. I can get you a class list if interested.
