Hill Country Marching Festival - 3rd Place Winners

Congratulations to the Center Point Pirate Pride Band for their 3rd place win at the Hill Country Marching Festival at Fredericksburg High School on Saturday, October 6th.
The band did an outstanding job of performing their music and marching. The kids just looked great on the field. We are very proud of each of the students for their performance.
Our drum line continues to dazzle the fans with their talent. We are looking forward to them competing in a Drum Line Competition in March of 2008.
All of the students have continued to improve since the beginning of the year and we look forward to what these kids will accomplish over the next few years. Remember this is a very young band, and we are looking forward to growing with them as they continue to learn music, and enhance their marching skills.
With the support of the teachers, staff, parents and the Center Point community, we know these kids will continue to represent Center Point with pride.
Give the band students a "pat on the back" the next time you see them for a job well done!
