One Act Play - "The Foreigner"
April 03, 2008
“The Foreigner” a hilarious comedy, was the entry of One Act Play students recently in the UIL Zone competition in Kerrville. The story takes place in a Southern hunting lodge and involves a zany cast of characters including a foreigner who supposedly does not speak English, a preacher in the Klan, a half-wit who is smarter than you think, and an Englishman who blows up mountains and cars. The play was directed by student crew member, Sloan F. The official cast and crew were:
Greg B. Garrett P. Shelby P.
Patrick H. Rachel J. John G.
Ben H. Kyle B. Rick D.
Maryssa H. Elizabeth L. Rieley M.
Paul A. Alyssa B. Sola V.
Congratulations to Garrett P. for his award of "All Star Cast Member" and to Rachel J. & John G. for their "Honorable Mention All Star Cast" awards.
Assisting Sloan in her directorial debut were theatre arts teacher, Nancy Erickson and teacher aide, Josh O’Brien.
