I am looking forward to the 2008/2009 school year. My schedule will be:
2nd. period (8:55-9:55) - DCPE (work program)
3rd. period (10:00-10:50) - Nutrition & Food Science
5th. period (11:50-11:40) - Personal & Family
Development
6th. period (1:20-2:05) - Content Mastery
7th. period (2:10-3:00) - Content Mastery

Students in my classes should have standard school supplies including a 1 ½ - 2 inch 3-ring binder.
The work program is tailored for students who want to join the work force. They will learn how to write a resume, apply for a job and tips for how to keep that job.
In Food Science we will be learning about nutrition and how to plan and prepare healthy meals.
In Personal and Family Development, we will be learning about the following areas: personal relationships, child development, foods, apparel, and managing resources.
RESPECT is the key word in my classroom - RESPECT for me, RESPECT for each other, RESPECT for learning and RESPECT for equipment and school property.
