Cooking: Quinoa – Nature’s Super-food
Course Description: Once considered an alternative crop, quinoa is now becoming increasingly common. Interest in the superior nutritional properties of quinoa has encouraged cooks at all skill levels to create unique dishes. Nutrient-packed quinoa has sparked the interest of the health-conscious, those seeking weight loss and those on high-protein diets. If you have 15 minutes, you have time to cook quinoa.*
Come experience this fun, hands on cooking class while we learn ways to prepare and enjoy quinoa for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The class will include nutritional information and history of quinoa, and several menu items to prepare and sample.
