Scott Turner, Executive Director of Student Services

Mr. Scott Turner is a graduate of Hereford High School, Hereford, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Math Education and a Master's degree in Education Administration from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas.
Mr. Turner taught math at Hereford Jr. High for three years and served as part time Assistant Principal. He also served as the Federal Programs Director for Hereford ISD for two years. Mr. Turner was the High School Principal at Portales High School, in New Mexico for two years.
Mr. Turner has been with CPISD for 14 years. He served as the Middle School Principal of CP Middle School for 4 years and was a math teacher and part time administrator for 3 years. He then spent 5 years as principal of Center Point High/Middle School. He is currently the Executive Director of School Services.
Prior to becoming an educator, Mr. Turner owned and operated a water well drilling and repair service for 13 years.
Mr. Turner is married to wife Brenda, who recently retired after 34 years of teaching, the last 13 as a first grade and kindergarten teacher at Center Point Elementary. They have one son, Dusty, who is a graduate of West Point and currently a Captain in the U.S. Army stationed in Hawaii.
