Immunization Clinic:
The date of the next immunization clinic for the 2008-2009 school year will be November 18, 2008. Nurse Connie will be sending information home to parents if their child needs an immunization.
Flu Vaccine:
Flu Vaccine Clinic to be held at Center Point ISD on Friday, October 24, 2008 on the stage of the Cafeteria at Center Point ISD.
The cost is $25.00 per person. Checks and cash will be accepted. If you have Medicare Part B, please bring your card and the vaccine will be free.
If you have students 17 years and younger, a physician’s order will be needed for your child to have the flu vaccine. If you are 18 years of age, and a CPISD student, you need a signed parental consent and $25.00. You can get a consent form from Connie Engel, RN. Please contact her at 634-6127. The clinic will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meningococcal Vaccine:
The Kerrville Department of State Health Services has meningococcal vaccine available for college bound seniors. Parents need to call DSHS at 895.5515 to make their own appointment for their student if the college the student will be attending requires the vaccine. The fee is sliding scale, based on income. It normally does not cost more than $30.00.
