Secrets to Shopping Online: How to Save Time, Gas and Money!
(AD-001)

Course Description:  Do you dread driving to San Antonio when you can’t find what you want locally? Is it a hassle to take your kids to the store? What do you do when you need something and you can’t get out? Are you a bargain hunter? Need a last-minute gift for someone across the country?
Become a savvy online shopper in this hands-on class. Let your fingers do the walking as you learn how to get the best prices through comparison shopping and using discount coupons. Get step-by-step directions on how to save up to 50% on hotel reservations. Become an expert at locating what you’re looking for and evaluating your choices with online reviews. Computer expertise is not necessary - the only requirement is that you like to save!
Instructor:  Judy Quick: an experienced teacher who enjoys taking complex topics and making them easy to understand. She is an expert at getting the most for her money, and currently saves over $200/month through online shopping.

Math Help for Parents – So YOU Can Help Your Student (AD-002)

Course Description: Don’t be frustrated and frazzled any longer because you’re unable to help your student with math homework.  Mr. Turner will be available at this session to answer and help with math questions dealing with basic math to Geometry and Algebra. You might just need is a little refresher on dividing fractions, multiplying, how to find the slope, or any other math question you have.  Elementary, middle school, and high school parents welcome, no question is too easy or simple.  Students welcome!

Scrap Booking—Picture Frame Project (AD-003) (New Date)

Course Description:  Scrap Booking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of photographs, printed media, and memorabilia contained in decorated albums, or scrapbooks. The idea of keeping printed materials of personal interest probably dates to shortly after the invention of printing. This trend is probably similar for photographs. Learn how to make an interesting scarp book project that you can frame and keep for yourself or give as a gift.
Instructor:  Alyssa Bolin, NHS Center Point Senior
Materials Needed: Glue stick, pictures/photos you want for your framed
art, scissors, small scrap booking trinkets or other gadgets that you desire
