2020 Center Point Elementary Veterans Day Car Parade

American Flag, Texas Flag, and CPISD Flag in front of the Admin. Bldg

Attention all Veterans

Center Point I.S.D. would like to thank

you for your service to our Nation!

Center Point Independent School District has a long tradition of honoring our veterans each year with a luncheon and program on Veterans Day. This year, although we are forced to change our tradition due to COVID restrictions, we are celebrating Veterans Day with a Car Parade and to-go meal.

This year Veterans Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, and we are requesting the honor of your presence in our drive-thru Car Parade on that day. The parade line up will begin at 9:30 a.m. along Second Street (behind the elementary campus) in Center Point. To get in the vehicle line-up, please turn off of China Street (Hwy. 1350) onto Avenue C, then right onto Second Street. Don’t worry – we will have a flagman out to guide you. The parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m.

We ask that you RSVP by Wednesday, October 28th, by calling one of the following staff members: Patty Feagan, Elementary Secretary, or Yvette Medrano, Elementary Receptionist/Attendance Clerk at (830) 353-8146. Please let us know how many will be in your party so we can prepare for the to-go meal(s) and a small gift which will be distributed at the end of the parade route.

Veterans Day is a special time for each of us as Americans. It allows us the opportunity to thank you and others who have served our country and defended our freedoms. We hope you will join us on this special day!

Sincerely,

Jennifer George

Elementary Principal
