Robbin Smith has been chosen as the Support Staff Member of the Month for October 2020.  Robbin has taken on additional duties as the Human Resources Specialist in addition to her duties as Accounts Payable Clerk.  Human Resources is an extremely complex process with lots of regulations to follow, paperwork, and various procedures and processes to complete on a daily basis.  Although Robbin is not 100% self-sufficient with HR, she is working diligently to learn and keep up with all that is involved, from posting job vacancies, processing applications, processing fingerprinting, completing forms with new employees, organizing personnel folders, keeping HR information up to date in TxEIS, etc.  Robbin will continue to improve her HR skills and begin to implement procedures that will streamline the process. Robbin is very deserving of this recognition.
