Welcome!

My name is Lindsay Rios, and I currently teach Strategic Math, Algebra 1, and Geometry.  This is my 15^th year in education, and as a Center Point High School graduate, I am so excited to be back!  I attended CPISD from Kindergarten through 12^th grade and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Learning and Development at The University of Texas – Austin.  Upon graduating, I taught Pre-K for two years before teaching 5^th grade math.  When my husband and I moved to Kerrville, I taught Health and Pre-Athletics as well as coached 7^th and 8^th grade girls’ volleyball, basketball, and track.  We recently moved to Center Point, and with my own children about to start school, I really wanted to get back into this school district.  Center Point ISD provided me with so many opportunities that I may not have had elsewhere, and I want my own children to have that same experience.  Center Point may be a small town, but just like the sign says, we have a BIG heart!  I am so excited to work with you this year and glad to be back in my hometown!
