Welcome to 2026 Pirates Football: High School & Middle School Families
Welcome to the 2026 Center Point Pirates football season. Our program runs on "Extreme Ownership". We control our preparation and our discipline, and we expect everyone—coaches, players, and parents—to understand the standard before the pads ever come out.
As we gear up for Acclimatization Week (August 3-8, 2026), we are calling on our parents for two critical events designed to build our foundation from the ground up. This year, we are officially inviting our Middle School moms, dads, and players to join us for these events as well!
1. Football Moms: Camp Kickoff
Date & Time: Saturday, August 1 at 9:00 AM
Details: Before pads or playbooks, camp starts with this. We expect every High School and Middle School player to arrive alongside his mom so the whole family hears the same message, at the same time. We will introduce the coaching staff, break down the two-a-days schedule, and lay out our facility expectations so our players are fully supported at home.
2. The High School Two-A-Days Schedule
Dates: Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 7
Details: The high school team will run a split schedule.
6:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Strength and conditioning lift to get maximal-effort work done before peak heat arrives.
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM: On-field practice.
Safety Protocol: We follow the Texas UIL five-day acclimatization mandate to the letter, gradually ramping up equipment from helmets-only on Monday to shells and dummy contact by Wednesday to protect our athletes.
3. Football Dads & Full Pads Close-Out
Date & Time: Saturday, August 8 from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Details: Saturday is our high schoolers' first legal day for full pads and live contact. We want our High School Dads, Middle School Dads, and Middle School Kids on the turf helping run drills, motivating players, and serving food. Having you on the field takes the mystery out of the first live contact day, alleviates player anxiety, and gives you firsthand proof of how strictly controlled our live periods are.

Remember that what happens at home matters: nutrient-dense meals and 8+ hours of sleep are part of the training plan, not optional extras.
Let's get to work.
