Our Grand Opening
On Friday, January 23, 2026, the Pirate Bistro opened its doors to the general public who reserved meals prepared by our Advanced Culinary Students under the direction of Chef Kim Young. Students for the first time were provided with real-world working experience in the culinary and hospitality industry. Our Advanced Culinary students prepared meals in the kitchen and select Culinary 1 and Advanced Culinary students served as waitstaff in the Pirate Bistro’s Wardroom. At the end of the day, 65 meals were made. 28 Guests were served, and 35 staff members were served too.
